Johnson County Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee (CJCC)

The Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee (CJCC) was formed to address safety, security and space needs from a recommendation of the State Public Policy Group (SPPG). SPPG was hired by the County in 2002 and spent over a year working with a local committee to develop a plan to address Johnson County’s criminal justice system.

The CJCC has four sub-committees: Facilities; Alternatives and Treatments; Funding and Grants; and Information and Outreach.
