History
Earlier this year, we announced and promoted National Police Week. National Police Week was established in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy as a week-long national time of memorial and observation of respect, appreciation, and gratitude for those serving in law enforcement.
Thank a Police Officer Day was established in 2012 by The Whole Truth founders Andrew M. Hale & Associates. The campaign of gratitude is one of the ways that the law firm has established itself as a national marketing force for creating a positive image of police officers. In just one year, Thank a Police Officer Day has grown into a national grass-roots movement.

Here’s an inspiring response that someone made to this post:
“For every post I do post about bad police, I do know there is probably one hundred or more good things they’ve done that nobody knows about. And these bad things are tragic! But, I have relatives and friends who are police! They are all good people! And it’s sad, but, in our present society, they are much needed!”
