Katherine Massoth is a PhD candidate in the history of U.S. women and gender, with an emphasis on the history of the American West and U.S.-Mexico borderlands.
She is currently at work on her dissertation, “‘Her many duties in the home’: The Borders of Gender, Cultural Practices, and Ethnic Identity in Arizona and New Mexico, 1846-1941.”
Katherine earned her B.A. in History and Social Science with a minor in Spanish from the University of California at Irvine (2007), and her M.A. in History from the University of Iowa (2008). [More…]
